The Rock's Got 'Game'
I hope "The Heartbreak Kid's" second place at the box office had something to do with thousands and thousands of curious viewers renting
Elaine May's original, classic picture but, yeah...doubtful.
By the way, I'd like to know what Charles Grodin thinks of the remake -- if he saw it. (What am I saying? There's no way Charles Grodin sat through that movie.)
Anyway, families (presumably, though there's a lot of single Rock fans who can love the man almost much as say, Charles Bronson or Aldo Ray) said nay on the gross-out humor and yay on Dwayne, keeping The Rock's "Game Plan" at tops o' the boxoffice.
1. "The Game Plan" -- $16.3M
2. "The Heartbreak Kid" -- $14M
3. "The Kingdom" -- $9.3M
4. "Resident Evil: Extinction" -- $4.3M
5. "The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising' -- $3.7M
