I honestly don't care how many critics are disapointed--I'm buying the new Criterion DVD "The Beales of Grey Gardens" (released today) as soon as I get dressed and make my way to the video store.

 

Because, as I've written before, I'm a little more than obsessed with "Grey Gardens," which makes any companion piece absolutely essential.

 

So, I'm off--to find the movie and to find that "Libra Man"--if you've seen "Grey Gardens" you'll know what I'm talking about.
